Caring For Your Laptop
After spending the hard earned money on a laptop, and trust him in a variety of ways, some time should be spent caring for your investment to work more efficiently and to prolong their lives.
The screen
Some laptops come with their own cleaning cloth. If not, ask your local PC on a spray or what is best for cleaning the screen. Do not use cleaning of the home. As a last resort and if your budget is stretched, just use a damp cloth. Be sure to disconnect power from the machine before starting the cleanup.
If using a spray, never apply directly to the screen as it runs through the screen and into the channels. Instead, spray a small amount on a soft cloth and then carefully wipe the screen. Do not apply too much pressure. Never use tissues or even a wool based cloth as these can damage the screen from scratches and also leave behind residual fibers. The best type of material to use is something like cloth used to clean your sunglasses.
The battery
If your laptop is going to be inactive for more than two weeks, or will be continuously connected to AC power, take the battery. If your laptop spends most of his time plugged into AC? A good idea to run the battery down once a week until it is completely flat, and then charge him.
The keyboard
With time on your computer keyboard dust, food scraps and all kinds of other rubbish. After a while the trash that finds its way between the keys and actuators and makes typing less accurate.
